1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sudoku ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Sudoku is a puzzle game application that provides:

• Sudoku puzzles at various difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Pro, Master)
• Custom difficulty mode with adjustable settings
• Game statistics and progress tracking
• Cloud save functionality with multiple save slots
• Global leaderboards (optional)
• Daily challenges
• Premium subscription options
• In-app purchases (hints, ad removal)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You may create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or Facebook Login
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You may not share your account with others
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time in the app settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days

4. Premium Subscriptions

4.1 Subscription Options

• Remove all advertisements
• Unlimited undo (free users see ads for undo)
• Access to Pro and Master difficulty levels
• Access to custom difficulty mode
• Higher hint limits (5 hints and unlimited options)
• Cloud save with 3 save slots
• Priority support

4.3 Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings

4.4 Free Trial

• If a free trial is offered, you will be charged when the trial ends unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges
• Trial period is 7 days

4.5 Refunds

• Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Contact Apple or Google for refund requests
• We do not have access to payment information or refund controls

4.6 Price Changes

• Subscription prices may change with 30 days notice
• Existing subscribers maintain current pricing until renewal

5. In-App Purchases

5.1 Consumable Purchases

• Hint Bundle: $0.99 for 10 hints
• Hints are consumed when used
• No refunds for unused hints if you delete the app

5.2 Restore Purchases

• Non-consumable purchases and active subscriptions can be restored
• Use "Restore Purchases" in the app settings
• Must use the same Apple ID or Google account

6. Cloud Save Feature

6.1 Save Slots

• Premium users have access to 3 cloud save slots
• Save slots sync across all devices linked to your account
• You can delete individual save slots at any time

6.2 Data Sync

• Cloud sync requires an active internet connection
• We are not responsible for data loss due to sync conflicts
• Local saves are maintained as backup

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Cheat or manipulate leaderboards
• Use automated tools or bots
• Reverse engineer the app
• Upload offensive usernames or content
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Impersonate others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Interfere with the app's operation
• Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
• Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage

8. Leaderboards and User Content

8.1 Public Information

• Leaderboard scores (display name and completion times) are public
• Do not use offensive or inappropriate display names
• We reserve the right to remove inappropriate content

8.2 Accuracy

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of leaderboard rankings
• Suspicious scores may be removed
• Cheating may result in account termination

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 App Ownership

• The app, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by us
• You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works

9.2 Trademarks

• "Sudoku" is a generic term for the puzzle type
• App design, logo, and specific features are our intellectual property

10. Advertising

10.1 Ad-Supported Version

• The free version displays advertisements
• Ads are served by Google AdMob and third-party networks
• You can remove ads with a premium subscription

10.2 Ad Tracking

• Ads may use tracking technologies
• You can limit ad tracking in your device settings

11. Disclaimers

11.1 "As Is" Service

11.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Specific outcomes or achievements
• Compatibility with all devices
• Availability of all features in all regions

11.3 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for third-party services (Apple, Google, Facebook, ad networks).

12. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. We are not liable for loss of data, profits, or business interruption.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective:

• Upon posting the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date
• After providing notice within the app
• By continuing to use the app, you accept the updated Terms

Material changes will be communicated via:

• In-app notification
• Email (if you've provided one)
• Prominent notice in the app

14. Termination

14.1 By You

• You may stop using the app at any time
• You may delete your account in the app settings
• Cancelling subscriptions does not delete your account

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the service
• Post inappropriate content

14.3 Effect of Termination

• Access to premium features ends immediately
• Subscriptions may be refunded at Apple/Google's discretion
• Account data will be deleted within 30 days

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy.

Disputes will be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation
2. Binding arbitration (if negotiation fails)
3. Small claims court (for qualifying claims)

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
